Hi, I'm a beginner, too, but here are my novice opinions.
toamna2 Seems slightly out of focus on the intended focal point. Were you using a tripod? If not, it may be beneficial to use one. Artistically, you may defend the final overall outcome, but you may consider stopping down to get more of the white flowers into focus. cameleon tree This is the best of the lot. I like how the brick and the tree share tones. Personally, I would have straightened out the mortar lines or have them converge on the plant by shooting at another angle, but that may be more prosaic (boring?). As is, it's a nice composition. It has some dynamism because of the lines, but just know if that's what you wanted. stuck on you This type of shot is specialized -- I'll leave it to the more expert photogs to comment on technique. toamna This shot lacks a focal point. Everything seems distant. From what I've read, you may want to include foreground interest by shooting from a lower angle. Get some of that prairie grass in the foreground into the shot. Actually, I'd offer my opinions up to critique as well. ![]() Regards, |
