Hi All,

Your exposure looks good to me. The only thing that bugs me is that the two parts of the building with the most visual interest are at the extreme ends of the image. You could either use a wider angle to fit them in better or I think a better idea could be to zoom in more and take two shots, then stitch them together.

I am not sure of your total set up and position on the other side of the river, but if you can shoot this again or have a bigger original to crop from, but I would consider:
1. have more golden reflection on the water running up to the building and have the building sit in the top half of the frame. The dull sky take up a fair bit of the image and is not interesting. If you want more sky, get there early evening so you can still pull some detail out of the sky. and get a touch of natural light to light the currently unlit towers. 2. The white balance looks a little off from my memory. (too yellow, but I may be wrong. I remember them a little more orange) 3. Zoom out a little and catch the bridge on the right, giving some space so you can see how the houses are situated. |
