I feel it needs a bit more foreground to give it some "depth".
The conversion looks good, although the blacks (rocks in shadow) appear to be a bit blocked up on my uncalibrated monitor.

I think the foreground does provide an entry point, but I feel the crop of the left side is slightly too tight, its almost as though you need a little more beech/rocks to enable the viewer to follow the curve of the sea and cliffs back into the picture, as it is I feel the sea at the mid left creates a bit of a barrier.
The overall expose looks quite good on my screen but I had a play with your image in PP, duplicated layer, set blend mode to multipy and the lowered the opacity to 30%, but thats just because I like B & W to be darker.

I really like it! I agree that if you framed it a little more loosely, the surge of the tide might be a little more strongly captured & there's a little too much loss of texture in the dark areas but the curve of the coast & the 3 con-trails (?) leading the eye to that beautifully layered distance haze on the horizon are really nice. & I can almost feel the textures in the mid-range...
