Default Sunrise on Melton Hill Lake. Oak Ridge Tennessee.

Was heading home from work and came across this.

Beautiful colors. Must have made going to work today worth the effort! Not completely sure that the lower 20 percent or so of the image being lost in the dark adds much to the overall image. Cropping might also help by bringing the horizon line down from dead center. Very nice shot!

Very nice capture.

It might have been interesting to sit there for a while and see what happened to the sky as it brightened. Are the trees in the background turning for fall?

I say crop out that small bright patch on the right edge, it is a bit of a distraction for me. An more closed apeture of f8 would add more DOF.

Keep it up and keep posting.
