Default Big Sur b/w #2

Here's another shot from last week's trip to Big Sur. I'd appreciate any thoughts, particularly on the bw conversion and suggestions for how the shot might be improved in post.

This is beautiful! My only suggestion is that the sky and background land are not that interesting ... I think you could crop them out and have a really interesting shot ... you might be able to up the contrast a tad too ... really nice though!

Thanks, crockny. I included the longer perspective in the shot to illustrate the vastness of the wilderness and show that the foreground wasn't just an isolated cove. But I played around some with your crop suggestion. Certainly makes for a different shot. Let me know what you think.

Actually I think I like the 1st one better! Now it seems too tight on the top ... oh well, live and learn! Doesn't hurt to play around though ...
