FWIW, that's not lens distortion, that's perspective distortion. Even the mythical optically perfect lens will get the same sort of leaning effect if shot with that framing from there. (The one exception is a tilt-shift lens. But in that case, you're using a different sort of lens distortion to help you rather than hurt you.)
That said, I think it looks fine. The only issue I have is that the image feels oversharpened to me, but that might as easily be the subject as a real problem with the image (especially since we're only seeing a small version here). Very nice shot.

Fantastic capture- I love the moody feel and the texture is phenomenal. This is a textbook image for BW in my opinion.
I often find that for me personally that people in an image not part of the focal interest or integral to telling the story can change my viewing experience for the worse. In this case, they draw me in and provide a subtle element of focus on the bridge. Wouldn't change a thing and TFS. |
