The exposure and B&W conversion look really good. The thing I don't get about this image is the subject. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be the light poles or the walkway. It's also a little disorienting to me to see the light pole vertical and the walkway at an angle.

Krusty thanks for your time in commenting, my subject there was the dome on the lower third but do you think the poles are distracting it?

Yes, for me at least. The first pole is so prominent, it keeps my attention.

I don't want to put words into Krusty's mouth but he may not be aware of the Wembley arch's iconic status? I have to agree with him that the picture's really good but the slope across the Wembley Way is a bit extreme. I'd like to see what a filter/distort/lens correction in Photoshop would do? With maybe a bit of image rotation necessary afterwards. As it is though it's a v. nice graphic image!

@shruggy - you are right about my lack of knowledge about the arch.

@AngeloDefensor - you could try the crop and rotate, or see if your software has a distortion correction function. I'm afraid that if you crop the light pole, you'll lose a lot of the dramatic sky.

yah Ive tried cropping it and then the image sacrificed its dramatic sky, I think I will just leave the whole picture and try to shoot another time with different angle.
