Default Marina Waterfront - Marina Bay Sand

This photo was taken a month ago outside Marina Bay Sand (Singapore), just right at the Marina Waterfront.

Exposure - 20seconds
Aperture - f/6.3
Focal Length - 9 mm
ISO Speed - 100

Any comments are welcome...

I like the use of the rail for a leading line into the image, but I think that red object is a little distracting. You've done a good job capturing the colorful lights, but some are overexposed. Did you bracket your shots or shoot RAW? I think a slightly underexposed version of this shot might look better.

Almost half of your image is taken up by the sky, which I don't find that interesting. Maybe a lower perspective or moving to the right could show more of the lights/walkway and less of the sky.

A smaller aperture like f/11 should give you more depth of field.

Ya, I find the red object distracting too, should have move forward a bit. I shall try doing hdr next time because I think f11 is not going to help with the over exposed lights as it will increase the shutter even more. But I get what you are trying to say, I should have another chance to go back there today if got time, I shall try hdr which should correct the exposure. Thanks for the input.

One thing that sort of bothers me is the rightmost building. It feels to me like it is at an angle and falling over.
