Default Industrial

Camera: Canon EOS 1000D, Lens: Tamron 18-200
EXIF: 1/400s, f9, ISO 200, Focal length: 149mm, no post processing, taken at about 5:30 PM

This image should say ”Industrial”, at least from my point of view. Am i wrong? Was there a better way to do it?

No like it works for me , the only thought would be to make it a B&W as the tones are warm which gives it a comfy feel.

All the best

To me, the image says "Smog" or Air Pollution."

I think some added contrast and pushing the black levels some would put the buildings into a stronger silhouette and make the image a bit stronger. I'm also inclined to think of "industrial" as colder grays, so maybe a black and white conversion to get away from that warm sunny feeling would help.

Attached is my take in a before/after in Lightroom.
