Default Rainy Day in Dubrovnik

This was taken on a rainy day back in May while I was visiting the beautiful Old Town of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

What do you think? what could I have done better?

Nikon D90
18-105mm kit lens
F8
1/60 sec
ISO 280
focal length 26mm

picture was taken in jpeg (I now shoot only with RAW files)

post processing in photoshop cs4.

I like this shot. The sky at the top is blown out, but it's not a major part of the image. Too bad you weren't shooting RAW back then.

The composition and processing look good to me. The only real suggestion I have is to try to take some shots from lower to the ground, closer to the gritty texture of the stones/bricks on the ground (if you were able to go back and reshoot). Good job.

Thanks! I am glad you like it! I am just kicking myself for not shooting in RAW on this trip!! oh well, cant do anything about it now

as far as the sky being blown out, it was raining and those are clouds, but yes its still hard to get that just right. Thanks again for the comments!!
