I think your focal point should have been further into the picture. Right now, the wheat in the very foreground is in focus, and everything behind it is out of focus. This leaves me to focus on the very bottom of the picture where its sharp and everything else is just wasted space.

+ to flytyers comment.

I thought exactly the same thing, just before panning down and seeing his/her comment.

Selective depth of field is something that you need to get right with the composition in mind, and I agree that your eyes are draw far to close to the bottom of the photo. I would have thought at a minimum the lower 1/3 line, or even the middle of the composition should be in focus. White balance seems ok, but then there isnt really any white to balance if you catch my drift...

Well I actually agree with both of you... I should probably have used a deeper DOF and 1/3 of the picture is a good suggestion.

I will have another try as soon as possible.

About WB I meant something like "are colors ok?" :P

I don't think the white balance is off necessary but the colors look a bit flat though.

That's probably because there were just some rays of light but the sky was mostly cloudy.

I should boost the colours a bit in PP.

Thanks for the advice.
