For the most part I like this shot, however, it foretells of what is soon coming once again. This was shot last winter shortly after the sun set late in the afternoon. How do you feel about the snow being blue? This, along with the image being somewhat split mid-frame. Appreciate, and welcome your comments

I don't mind blue snow, but this may be a little too blue. How about cropping off the foreground pile?

This looks realy nice. Moving the fence off to the lower left reayly leads your eye to the trees in the upper right. The color looks nice also! |

Vince, I also think that your cropped version is better, its composition is more effective, undoubtedly leading the eye to the trees. Regarding the snow colour, I think it's just a matter of how do you want to present an image like this. If the snow was a bit bluer than in your final version, a viewer would assume it was shot after a sunset, and right now, to me it looks more like it was taken in early morning. I think that if a photo doesn't give a straight answer to a viewer about the time of capture, we're free to make changes like these. But if it does, or if we state it, then we need to pay more attention to these fine differences. In the first version you posted, the snow a bit too blue in my opinion.
