Nice capture, Art. I would suggest either trying to get the ship properly exposed or letting it appear as a black silhouette. Right now, you're kind of between the two extremes where I can see a little detail, but not much. Also, the image feels a little cramped to me and I would like to see a little more negative space around the sun and ship.

Nice job Art! I really like the composition...sailing into the sunset. It works well. I agree that the ship appears to be in between making out detail and total silhouette but I think your shot works fine. The only improvement I can think of would be to sharpen the ship just a bit. It appears a bit out of focus. I copied the image and ran it through the high pass filter in Photoshop and it fixed it right up.
