Default Black River (Drin) Struga, Macedonia.

I took this picture around 7:30PM and it was a beautiful moment, I hope I captured it well.

That being said, I like the colorful aspect of the river you have captured. I think the main issue with this scene is that the dynamic range exceeds what your camera can capture. While your eye can capture the scene, your camera cannot capture the range of dark to light areas, so you have a blown out sky and dark areas with no detail. Since the horizon is so uneven, it would be hard to use a graduated neutral density filter to reduce the brightness of the sky relative to the ground, so exposure blending or HDR are other options to overcome the dynamic range issue. I am starting to prefer exposure blending myself.

Do you have a circular polarizer? If not, you should get one, as it is useful for reducing glare off non-metallic surfaces (like water) and it can give you more vivid colors, depending on your angle relative to the sun.
