I think you did fine removing the lights.. Saturation is ok (it is a Ferrari!), but the whole image seems a bit underexposed. Regarding composition and crop, I would like to see the camera moved to the right (too have the empty space right of the car, and not left), and cropped a bit higher. Right now I'm afraid she might hit her head on the frame edge.

Agreed that you did a fine job on removing the lights.. and I agree it all looks underexposed.

But in the end this, to me, is simply a snapshot of a car with a woman standing next to it.

I say this for two reasons composition and composition.. yes, it's so important I think you messed it up twice.

First, the background behind the woman is distracting. I also don't like how the car covers part of her up.. either cut off her legs completely or not at all.

Second.. the composition in general is very "I'm standing here at eye level shooting down at the subject" boring. To me, this is how I and everyone else would see this exact scene if we were there standing looking at it. Consider getting lower, closer, or higher.. anything to change things up a bit and make it look different than the 1000000 other images taken of this scene because I feel most probably look a lot like this.
Could you move to the right ot put her in front of the car?

In the end I can tell why the scene is interesting.. but beyond being a 'shot for the record" I'm not sure what else this scene does for me (other than raise my blood pressure! )

Interesting subject isn't always enough, we have to work to make it unique and different to the viewer. Make me (and others) see this somehow differently... play with perspective. Ignore the first 5-10 ideas on how to shoot something because it's likely every single other person there did the exact same thing...

I agree that the subject is awesome, but I also agree that a different perspective would have made the shot better. I'm a big fan of dropping to the ground and taking pictures lying down, or hold the camera high into the air and snap continuously to get an aerial view. I know it doesn't always fit the demeanor of some gatherings, so take this with a grain of salt.
