Default monotone landscape

I was trying out monotone landscape. I would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions on how to improve it. Thanks!

I'm sure you will get a better response if you post using the published rules. Critique Forum Rules. It helps those with more technical knowledge to provide meaningful input instead of guessing.

I personally would take this capture standing more to the left to frame the boat in the tree and to better include the rock in the lower left corner. I do find the people a bit distracting.

I also find the people distracting. I never like people in landscape shots.

Also, that waterline on the horizon is quite disctracting. Not sure how you can fix it in this shot since the people are standing straight. If you adjust for the horizon, the people will be leaning to the right.
