Default Old Garage

Another picture I took while driving around up in Missouri is this shot of an old garage. I took this pic while sitting in my van along a gravel county road that was barely able to handle two way traffic so I didn't want to get out and set up the tripod.

What I am looking for is what do you think of the picture overall, and especially about the saturation. The original picture was rather flat and drab. I tried everything I could think of to make this picture pop and this is what I came up with.

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T2i (550D)
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS
F-Stop: f/8
Exposure: 1/50sec.
ISO: 100
Exposure Bias:0
Focal Length: 42mm

I have to ask, "what's it look like in B&W?"

I always ask that question when I have an image of an old building.

I love the house but it seems to be swallowed up by green. I'd lose some of the trees to the left. Oh, and what the PP said. What's it look like in B&W?

I am a sucker for old garages/barns/buildings in general. I prefer the color version. The garage looks tilted to me. I wish the dead growth in the front camera right was either gone or in bloom. It took me a minute, but I like the deer in the capture also.

The garage looks tilted because it is. I did do a bit of straightening, but I didn't want to overdo it since the actual building is tilting.

Nothing I could do about the tree fallen over the garage. It's on private property. I think it adds to the scene. Old garage, old fallen down tree...

The reason I didn't crop out the right side of the picture was because of the deer. Thanks for noticing. I wanted to get a couple shots of them alone, but when I reached for my 55-250mm lens, they scattered.
