Default Post processing

Well I wonder how you feel about this. Tried with whatever I know in processing . Whatever it may be feel free to convey. I just used photo filters in adobe pse in selective processing the clouds, Then layered and multiplied to get the final effect. I dunno how clear I am in explaining the process. Plz do ask, and convey your comments.

Was the shot taken in RAW mode? If so, please could you give us a link to it - it will give us many more editing options.

sharpening, using hi pass on the clouds only, and then masking it. Applying gradient map on the lower to brighten the lower part.

Can you not upload it to the same place where you uploaded your JPG file, then give us a link to it?

Here's my take on it, in Lightroom so you can see the changes in the history to the left. The image is too big to post inline, so you'll have to click it to see the full-size.

What doesn't show up in the history is the gradient filter. I applied it along a line between the clouds and the lower sky. This let me punch up the brightness, contrast, and clarity in the clouds to bring out more edge detail and shape without affecting the whole image.

There's also a curves adjustment where I pushed the shadow and dark details up to give me some room to add a bit of overall contrast without clipping things too much.
