Default Ingestre Hall, Stafford, UK

This is a composite image of Ingestre Hall, Stafford, UK, comprising of 15 images. It sitll needs a bit of work, particularly where I have bought the new sky in and left the white halo effect visible, particularly on the left near the bushes, so any advice in how to remove this appreciated!

Comments on the obvious merging of sky appreciated, this is the first I have tried and thought worthy of posting here, though the halo thing really bugs me and I'm not sure I have picked the right sky with the lighting conditions, so any advice on how to balance the light also appreciated.

I also forgot to lock my exposure, so I did have to tweak a few of the shots as I layered them together in CS5.

Ingestre Hall, Stafford

Exif:

Camera Nikon D5000
Exposure 0.001 sec (1/2000)
Aperture f/2.8
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 200

Thanks
Tom

You could create a mask, and then brush away the halo, but it's very time consuming and you need patience. You could also download Topaz Remask; it makes it a lot easier to do those kind of things-- like getting a new sky, etc. I'm no Photoshop expert, so take my advice for what it's worth.
