Default Architecture Perspective and Lightining

Hello All,

What do you guys think about this perspective? What do you all think of the lighting on the building, is it too dark? I know a wider lens would really help this picture, however, I'm currently only able to use the 18-55 mm kit lens.

I'm not really digging what you are selling. I'm sure the flags are the the subject of the capture and they are too much smack in the middle of the frame for me and the almost blown sky is distracting.

Can you go back and try standing directly under the flags with your back to the building then bending backwards (or lay on the ground) to shoot straight up with the flags in the right and left third of the frame and hopefully a vertical row of windows centered in the frame? That would turn out best in the very early morning or just at dusk so the sky is not so bright.

Yeah, that is a good idea. I was mainly trying to recreate some of what I've seen other people do with architecture like odd angles, especially vertical shots. The main focus for this picture, for me, is the flags and how they are lit. Also I thought the sky was okay. I do need to pick up a polarizing filter for shots like this. I seem to be having a fair amount of trouble finding interesting subjects and angles to capture. I don't know if there's any advice one could receive to help with this, other than experience.
