Default Sun on water.

This was taken down at our creek (not really 'Ours" but it's just across the road from us) today in the morning sun. After a recent post of a water shot and subsequent critique, I have now invested in a CP. Is comp ok in this shot? I was trying to get the horse shelter in it. Any critique welcomed!! it's constructive!!

Cute! A little bright in areas because of the time of day. I would crop out much of the right side to place the child in the lower right of the frame and lose the stuff that's not that interesting ...

the composition is okay, but if you cropped out some of the right side you could use the rule of thirds nicely, placing the child in the lower left corner and the shelter in the upper left.

The sky is also a little blown out but overall I like the colors.

love it - composition is good and the colours really pop! polarizer was the right way to go - the water looks great.

as xxrayna suggested i would probably crop the right hand side to place the kid along the rule of thirds.

personally, I love the exposure and think the blown out sky adds rather than subtracts because of the colour difference between that and the greens.

also, I didn't notice the horse shelter until I read your comment
