Default canoe on the shore

I like how you haven't overcooked this image and I like the tones. It seems though I can't make up my mind what to focus on - the canoe or the jetty. I think it should be one or the other - if the canoe, move back until it is seen as a whole and approximately on the first third line but keep the jetty out or maybe have the canoe against the jetty. And the horizon needs leveling. Still a nice shot though.

What was your reason for doing HDR? I'm not seeing much detail brought out in overexposed areas.

Default One Slight Thing.

I'm really diggin' this photo. The only thing that I would change (if I had taken this photo) would be to take it during sunrise/sunset using a graduated neutral density filter so the sky isn't so washed out. Otherwise, I think the HDR really brings out the details, just a little more sky action would be nice. But overall, I think you did a fantastic job!
