Default the Eternal Light Bulp

I really love sunrise and sunset..
this one of my shots I need to be criticize.. (sorry if my 'english' was bad)

this shot taken with 'Sony DSC-W530 Point 'n Shots Pocket Camera'.. yap, I don't have DSLR that time.. I use the "twilight mode" 'n I don't know how it works..

"if I shot a same object with DSLR camera, what should I do to get the same or better view"
nb: the scenery is quite brighter than at the picture above..

I like your idea for the composition. However, it is tough to shoot into the sun like that. The bright sun has caused the sky to be underexposed. So, you will either have to settle for exposing the shot for the bright sun or the sky. It looks like your camera tried to take an average reading for the scene, so the sky is underexposed and the sun is a little blown out.

You could try something like exposure blending or HDR, but I don't know how that will work when you have one very bright spot in your shot.

One more thing - your horizon doesn't look level.

hmm.. yap its about 5 degree tilt to right. I should practice to shots at some slope, it quite hard to take a shot with one hand and other hand holding something to help you stand at that slope..
