Default B&W Train Tracks

Hello everyone, I need some help with a photo I took few days ago. I converted it to B&W in Lightroom, to tried the B&W Contrast preset. I really like how it came out, but what I am worried about is to blownout sky and some of the buildings. Even though they are blownout I like how it looks, but I am not sure if that is just incorrect. Other C&C are welcomed too. Thank you.

Exif:
Exposure 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 30 mm
ISO Speed 200

I wouldn't call it "incorrect" but I do find my eye drawn up to the bright skyline and away from the lines of the railroad yard. You might try using that preset as a jumping-off point, then toy with some things to bring the skyline back. More contrast to the buildings would add some solid punch to the image. Right now, it almost looks like a half-and-half where the top is low contrast and the bottom is high contrast.

+1 IABoomer'sa comment .

Also compositionally all that dead are on the bottom and bottom left doesn't do much for me.
Try cropping it around a 1/3 off the bottom and a bit on the left.
Then flip it horizontally so that the tracks now come in from the bottom left.
For me it works bettter.

When I opened your picture, I didn't even notice the tracks. Why? Because of the brightness of the blown-out sky. If that's the look you want, that's fine. Just remember that the title of your post reads

. I'm assuming that your subject is the tracks. The eye of the viewer should be drawn immediately to the tracks. Just my two cents.
