Neither the foreground nor the sky is overwhelmingly interesting to me, but I'm very interested by the stones. Unfortunately, right now the stones are only a minor part of the frame, providing a background to the path leading up to them.
I would recommend one of two things to start: 1) Set your lens as wide as you can manage and get as close as you can to the stones without losing the ends of the subject in landscape mode. Tilt your lens up or down to emphasize either the sky or the ground. 2) Go farther away from the stones and zoom in to fill the frame with the subject, again in landscape orientation. In both cases, you'll want to straighten your camera (it looks like you're tilted to the right here) and run your horizon somewhere other than through the center of the frame. HTH |
