Default Parking Garage in HDR

Took this at one of the local parking garages during the Scott Kelby photowalk last year. My first attempt at an HDR image. Would like some comments on composition as well as the overall HDR effect.

I like the HDR effect. I don't think you went overboard which is probably the most common problem with HDR (in my opinion). The composition works well for me.

The one thing that I would like to see changed (other than that truck, which I imagine you had no control over) is the blurred foreground. It looks like it was blurred in post because it's only the sides and top that are blurred. I personally find it a little distracting. If you are looking for a way to guide the eyes down the center I would try some burning along the edges instead. Great job though, especially for your first HDR.

I also found the blurring distracting, and rather than my eyes being drawn through the middle of the photograph I caught myself looking out to the sides.

Aside from that I think it's great, really like how the pillars/gaps between them compresses deeper into the photo. Long lens?

I like the composition and I don't think the HDR is overdone. With that blurred part of the foreground, it almost looks like you were going to start doing the tilt-shift effect.
