Default Exhibition hall...

Hi all, this is just one of the exhibition hall in the Musei Vaticani, it is impressive so much ww art inside.

Can you please critic composition & perspective?

Hey!

I have been there once, when I was a teenager (early teens) and it was a fantastic place! Great for photo opportunities!

I think more DOF would have been nice, it appears to me that the back end of the picture (bottom) is blurry. Therefore my eyes rest on the fresca in the top middle. Maybe to have an eye-leading effect you could try rotating the picture 180 degrees so you will have the fresca at the bottom and eyes for naturally from top to bottom, and here they just kind of stick at the top partly because the main subject is there and partly because of the DOF. I think the shot is "geometrical" enough that this can be tried, and then again, no one but you will know what it really was like anyway :P

I feeling like I am missing something from the picture. I like how the beautiful ceiling is receeding into the distance, gives great depth but I wonder how this would look in portrait?

in portrait with a lot of distractors and people...
