Default Footsteps in the sand

Footsteps

Details-
f/8
1/1600sec
ISO-400

Im not entirely happy with this shot, i think i should have used a higher aperture to get more of the background in focus. What do you think?

The focus works okay for me. The clouds in the b/ground seem a little blown out. For beach footprints I'd have preferred to see barefoot ones rather than shoes, but that's subjective I guess. I'm also wondering why you didn't use a lower ISO. But it is a very nice shot, I like it. Well done.

The high ISO was purely an accident.

The focus works for me also. The blown out clouds are a drawback, but a bigger one for me is the colour of the sky, its weird green/blue hue. I think a white balance tweak would be ok here.
