Default Orillia @ night

This is a long exposure shot I took recently (my first long exposure). What would you have done differently? Are there any solutions to the blurry treetops, the breeze never stops? I did the shot in two stages: first just the setting, no cars, Mississauga St @ night then several shots with varying levels of traffic.
This is the result of 7 shots, 30 seconds a piece.

I personally love the light trails. The thing that is distracting to me are the parked cars.

I was up in the air about the light trails, that is why I did the second image (the one I linked in my post) without the trails. As for the parked cars, it was Saturday night of a long weekend on the main strip, there are probably over 100 people that walked through while the shutter was open. Unfortunately none of them wanted to move that damn van.

I know what you mean about wanting things to move out of the way. I've waited over a half hour before for a scene to clear out enough to snap a photo. There is a photo I took of main street Disneyland that appears to be empty. That one took a lot of waiting for the street to clear out enough. It's frustrating at times haha.

I think the light trails are what elevates this above a typical snapshot.
