Default Bridge sunset

i always pass by this view and thought it was beautiful. i took this shot the second day i got my camera. im still trying to figure things out, any feedback will be helpful thanks.

Nikon D3100
1/60 F9.0 Iso 1600
35mm (35-70mm f/3.3-4.5)

Hey,

It came out like a silhoute. If you want it that way, its ok, otherwise details are lost in blackouts. You could have used the flash. Sky is beautiful

I think it could use a crop on the bottom, and then straighten it out.

yes it does seem slanted. i thought about cropping it but i felt it would leave too much open sky, but ill give it a try and see how i like it. thanks guys

That's a nice view, but I think the trees and crooked fencing in the foreground are distracting. Also the bridge is not quite a silhouette, but it is not exposed correctly either. You're in between the two. You'll have to decide if you want a silhouette shot with a black silhouette or a shot where the bridge and sky are both correctly exposed (harder to do). You'll probably have to bracket your shots and do some exposure blending if you want both exposed correctly.
