Default Third time?

If you were to do it a third time, do you think it would be even softer?

I don't think so, because none of the edits (resizing and saving) are saved in the master file. The original file always stays in full res. and in 16 bits, because, after resizing and saving for web, I undo all resizing and keep the original in unchanged state. I think it's a matter of amount of sharpening vs. resolution, the amount I applied before doesn't work for the lower resolution after cropping. Recently, when I'm finished processing a photo I make several web versions and upload them to see which one looks the best on Flickr. I generally make 3 800pix files with different amounts of sharpening and also three of 1000pix resolution. Usually the 1000 with highest sharpening looks best, but sometimes it's not the case.
