Default Spring river reflections

Shot on a very calm spring day - processed from RAW in Photoshop, minor tweaks to saturation and levels, a touch of sharpening etc. Trusty old D70 with 18-55 . Without the calm water and reflections, I probably would not give it much of a second look.

I like it quite a lot. I'm a freak for all things reflective. I have no advice. I know my limitations. I stick to Oooooh and Ahhhhh. Good luck!

It has a nice painterly quality to it. Are you happy with the exposure, etc.?

Someone will be along shortly asking (maybe scolding) for the EXIF data and specific questions about the pic. Just a head's up.... lol

Very nice shot. Did you use a polarizer? The reason I am asking is because I see a submerged rock in the foreground. If you used a polarizer, you might be able to show the rock better and it would provide some foreground interest.

@MeAgain - it's good to see you giving feedback. To take it to the next step, I would suggest trying to pick out one thing that makes you like/dislike a picture. Even if you keep it to yourself, I find it helps me to break down things I like/don't like about an image and it helps me critique my own shots.

I agree with Krusty. If you can bring out the submerged rocks in the foreground it would add some depth to the entire shot.

Thank you Krusty79. I'll do just that. Though I will take the "keep it to myself" option. I'm completly unqualified to critique but I do know how to enjoy.

I hadn't even noticed that rock until you pointed it out.

I really like this shot. It's a perfect mix between the foreground and the reflection. Very well done! I just wish I had somewhere around me to practice shots like this.
