Default Capital Square - B&W conversion/composition

I'd shot this the same day I was downtown shooting the street performers posted here and here, but hadn't gotten around to processing this shot of Capital Square, which is a business center in the Skywalk system.

It's hard to see some of the detail that got captured in the scaled down size. The full size is available on Flickr. Does the B&W conversion work for you? Are the lines/details interesting? This was shot in portrait and rotated slightly to straighten some lines, but otherwise uncropped. Do you think it would work better cropped, and if so how?

Morning Mark,

I like the b&w conversion, it works for me. I suppose colours would make it messy and the detail far less distinguishable, so I like it this way. Regarding the crop and comp..I would like to see whole canopy of that leftmost tree, but that's a minor point. I find the composition a bit ineffective, there is no dominant subject to keep my interest and to keep my look fixed, yet on the other side, I find the whole frame pretty interesting and filled with small subjects which are worth exploring. So, it's a trade-off in a way. But still pretty interesting and effective photo.
