I took this pic a year ago while on miami on vacation. It's one of my fav but, never really knew what to do with it. I'm open to all comments since that's how I will learn to improve my self. Thank you

I can see where you were trying to go with it but, it just isnt working. I'm thinking the structure behind it might be a lighthouse? Altho the trees would make a great frame, for this photo, its too much as it covers up what should be your focal point

I agree the trees are good for blocking out the sun and framing your subject, but in this case they are also blocking the view of your subject.

Totally agree thank you for the honesty. I was dying to take a pic of the light house as it would be my first one. I tried going around but, on the other side is water and rocks I wasn't allowed to climb. Thank you
