Default Three beautiful tulips

Hi All!

I'm looking for any advice you have about what I can do to make this picture pop more. I took it with at a 3.5f/stop very short exposure time on the EOS T1i. I'm still new to the photography world so I'm looking for any advice on basic post processing techniques or even composition advice. Any thing you are willing to share! Thanks!

I think you need to add full EXIF data and so on if you want critique responses.

I think your main problem here is framing and choosing the right time of day for shooting. Because you used a small aperture, the two flowers in the back are out of focus. I would personally love to see all three of them in focus. Also, that black fence (I'm guessing it's a fence) in the back is distracting and it's somewhat ruining the aesthetics of your photo. If you have flowers like these in a position where there is no fence behind them, that would be great.

My second point, it looks like you took this shot in middle of the day, which is why the light is so harsh. Try to do it later in the evening or early in the morning, while the Sun is still low. That way you'll have much softer light and better results.
