Default Shooting the moon?

I took this during the "supermoon" back in March, and I'm curious about something... in the image, there is a yellowish tinge around the top edge of the moon -- can anybody tell me what causes this? I had no tripod, and was shooting using the roof of my car to steady the camera as much as possible... Were my settings way screwy for this kind of shot? Or is it possibly just because I'm not using a DSLR? lol

100_1018-1

Camera Kodak EasyShare Z981
Exposure 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture f/5.0
ISO Speed 64
Flash fired

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Looks like chromatic aberration.

Your settings were not way screwy, just a little bit.
It looks like the right side of the Moon is a bit overexposed, or at least, the whole Moon could have been a bit darker. You could have chosen a faster shutter speed, which would additionally help you take a sharper photo (because of camera movement).
And, turn off the flash next time, the Moon is way too far away for a flash.

Yeah, I knew the flash was unnecessary, I'm not sure why I even had it on. Dumba$$ moment there, lol. Thank you for your input!
