Default the village path

Hey guys..
Took it on my visit to a friend's farmhouse. Took in by keeping the camera on the ground, couldn't lie low myself cause of the rain previous night...
Besides the foreground being a bit blurred anything else in the composition that could be improved. Wat bout contrast?

The blurry foreground isn't bothering me. At wider aperture settings, that's to be expected, and is actually a desired effect. What I'm not seeing is the subject of your image, which could be a discarded tractor part, an old boot, etc... Really, anything to add some context to the scene. What you have right now is a nice background and foreground. Add something for some focal interest and you'll be on your way to a winning shot! Thanks for posting; I look forward to seeing more of your shots.
