![]() Camera Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS Exposure 0.067 sec (1/15) Aperture f/16.0 Focal Length 28 mm ISO Speed 100 Exposure Bias 0 EV Exposure Program Aperture-priority AE Metering Mode Center-weighted average This is an attempt to apply some of the excellent information I have received here in the critique section. I know, it's yet another sunset shot, but I'm a bit limited in landscape opportunities at the moment. I did basic PP in PSE by using levels, a gradient, and sharpening as per the suggestions of Swissjon and others. I have tried to keep the colors true to what I experienced. Let me know what you think.

That's a pretty good sunset there, but most of the image is taken up by the clouds, which are not overly compelling (to me, at least). As navcom said, the sun itself is usually not a great subject, so you need some cool clouds and/or some foreground interest to add to the sun. To improve your shot, I think you need some more interesting/colorful clouds. If you can add some foreground interest, that would be a plus.
