Question Over-contrasted or Not ?

I processed this shot and after i finished it I felt confused.
Is it over-contrasted (especially the lower part)?
Did you like the colors' processing?
Please let me now what do you think about this shot and give me some suggestions to improve it please

I like the colours, and I do find it a bit unbalanced. When my eyes settle on that nice sky, I find the green field drawing my attention from below. But I'm not sure if this is only due contrast or colours.. I would try to increase exposure of the whole photo a bit, and maybe lower the saturation of the field, but honestly, this is nitpicking!

Besides that it could use some nice focal point (a tractor, a worker in the field, a barn..), I can only say it's a very nice photo.

This happens to me as well after long and careful post-processing. The best thing to do if you're not sure about some very fine adjustments, is just leave it over night and come back to it after a day or two. As time passes, you will have a much clearer view of the things.

I don't feel like there's too much contrast there, but then again, I like a somewhat thick contrast myself. If anything, as milosh suggested, something to provide a bit of visual contrast, not tonal contrast, would be good.

The other thing I can see is the foreground looks like it might be a touch oversharpened.

I agree with the previous comments. 39 views and 15 comments? Wow, my comment ratio is miniscule compared to yours! Nice shot!

"Milosh": Thanks a lot for your precious idea, and i would like to tell you that I've done that and added a truck into the left corner of the photo..

I tried to increase the exposure but that made the photo lose that desired style that i want...

"IABoomer": You are right , I've seen that the foreground is a bit over-sharpened and i will try to fix that in an updated version..

"Krusty79": I'm glad with this comments/views ratio but for sure after posting this photo here the ratio will change and an increase in views only will be noticed...

thanks my friends, your critique makes me better

I don't have any issue with your shot - I like it.

In the foreground, there may be some *slight* over-sharpening, but that could be the lighting, Flickr's sharpening or slightly too much USM.

It is something I'm guilty of too ;-)
