Default b&w Meadow

Hi all can you tell me if this works as a b&w conversion not a fan usually with landscapes but think this works what do you think? Any tips on improvement most welcome.

I think the B&W conversion works, as you have a nice variety of grays in the image with a few blacks and whites. The only thing I think the shot lacks is a distinct subject. You could have moved in closer and used that single tree in the lower right corner as your subject. I think that could have elevated this from a good shot to a great one. My two cents...

I don't think this works, at least not for me. Not because it's B/W, it's a good conversion. But the foreground trees are distracting and it lacks a "subject" as Krusty mentioned.

Strictly as a conversion, it works for me. You've got good separation here, and I really like the contrast in the sky.
