Sunset Over the Hudson

Would you consider this to be over saturated? I have an ongoing discussion about this topic and would like others opinions. Is "over saturated" a technical term - can I see from data that a shot is over saturated? Or is it more personal preference?

Not sure if "over saturated" is a technical term but I do hear it quite often and use it myself when describing color. Like everything else in photography it's more about personal preferences. With that said photography is also very techincal and there are rules which sometimes you don't need to follow if you choose.

Anyways no I would not consider this over saturated. I like the tones and composition, very nice work.

Thanks benchdog. I hear the term a lot as well and wanted to make sure that there wasn't something there that I was missing.
