Hi All,
I really like this shot but I really struggled getting the exposure balanced. This was taken early afternoon on a bright sunny day and I had an abundance of light flooding in from the right. I exposed for the shadows and did a lot of work in pp to get close. I would like to know what you think about the exposure? How could I have changed my camera setting to get better in camera results to reduce my pp efforts? Ed ![]() 18-55mm Kit lens FL 18 Aperture f/5.6 Exposure 1/15 ISO 400 Metering Mode Evaluative

I don't think there's anything you could've done to improve this in camera. These oddly lit architecture shots are near impossible to perfect in camera and always require PP.
You may have sat around for up to 24 hours waiting on better light! Who else would (or could) do that? You did a great job, especially given the light and other circumstances available, a keeper no doubt. If you care to have a view, here's a simliar circumstance of my own: Trierer Dome, Germany | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Happy hunting.
