Default Swan Lake Panorama

Well folks, Inspired by Graciousness to both critique and be critiqued, look at a panorama of Swan Lake on the NSW South coast. I stitched it together and I like it. But I'm sure that some will find it a bit busy and the compositing and cropping needs tightening up.
Does all the exif data disappear when you stitch photos together to make a panorama? Beacause I can't find it.

John, you sharkie you, so great to see your photo here!!

Maybe flicker can't identify all the exif if you have several photos 'stitched' into one? How did you do that? Was this on manual mode?? I can't imagine doing several photos to merge into one unless settings are done on manual.....I'm like eon years away from that

I'm not qualified to critique you cause one, you bite, and two, you're more technically equipped than me. So I'll leave this in the hands of the knowledgeable ones

There is, however, a blurry object on the bottom right of the photo which is distracting - I wouldn't dare crop the right side to get rid of it, though, cause those people by the umbrella need to be there. Maybe clone it out?

I wish we could see this photo on a bigger scale but it would be impossible due to the length of it....hard to see details and I really wanna see it!

Now I miss the summer days in the beach again. Need to see that lake cause it sorta reminds me of Lake Michigan in Chicago where I used to swim at when we lived there.

Thanks for this photo cause I've almost forgotten about those beautiful days.....

Cheers,

Grrrrr.-

Hi John.

It is quite busy but then again it is a beach. Nice job on the panorama and yes the EXIF data doesn't follow the panorama you will have to get the EXIF from one of the frames you stitched.

I find the grasses in the foreground a bit distracting. I might suggest the next time your there to zoom in a little bit and capture more detail from the beach.

Nice work

Thanks Grace, thanks Benchdog.

I will have to pull out the original pics to see the exif. We have a holiday house down there and I think it would look great blown up on the wall. I shoot raw, so I don't think size will be an issue.

I'll look at re-stitching and see if I can compose a little better. I'll let you know.

Good calls.
