Default The Dark Valley

This was taken sometime in the evening when i was going around an uninhabited hill(In this place, called hosur, all other hills have atleast a few huts and cottages), when i stumbled across this pleaseant looking place.Tried to climb the hill to take shots, but could'nt manage to do that. Took shots only from this low lying spot. Here, should i have cropped the right side of the rock off? Ive also increased contrast and levels a little bit, is it ok to do that?

shutter speed : 1/8
aperture : f/6.3
ISO : 80
focal length : 9mm

I like the image and agree it may be a little off balance. I might suggest a square crop 12 x12 would look nice here. I would start the crop where the water meets the bottom of the lower left frame and drag it diagonally to the right to complete the square crop.

Nice work

We all need some encouragement along the way.

Getting there but I was thinking a little more like this. Maybe not as tight though. Play with it and when its right it will hit you.
