Default Zoomed Plants

hey guys this is my 1st pic zoomed one ....
im new to photography
clicked this Sony Cybershot

how can i improve my photography with this digicam
i mean there is not option to set ISO manually
i would like to know about my areas of improvement in this pic...

I like the lines leading across the photo, and the angle of the shot is interesting, but the blown-out area in the lower left is pretty distracting. As far as composition goes, the plants by themselves aren't really very interesting as the main subject, IMO. Sometimes, when you've got a large area filled with the same thing (the plants, for instance), you can use something contrasting as the subject. In this case, I don't see anything in-frame that would really have worked, but keep your eyes open -- something will pop out at you.

For me, the photo looks like it represents a normal point of view. Try to shoot the subject from a unique angle that you normally wouldn't see if you were to simply see the subject while passing by. Find something unique in the subject and concentrate your composition on that. Try to see what others normally wouldn't see.
