Default Sunrise Statue

Hello,

I took this a few months ago. I like it, but not sure if I made the sky too dark and the foreground too light. Also, are the branches coming in from the top right distracting?

Any other critiques would be appreciated. Thank you.

John

I've added your image in - hopefully you will pick up some responses now.

The branches coming in on the right don't bother me so much. It's that I can only vaguely make out the statue that I have trouble with. Perhaps if the background were a little lighter it would help. I like the light on the foreground, too, though. Had the sunlight been behind the statue, there may have been a bit more uumph to the shot.

My thoughts exactly. The statue being a little more prominent is the only thing I see.
