One of my first landscape shot's. Is it any good?
Any advice on how I could improve this type of shot?

Its a good shot....a little oversaturated with the sky and water being a little too blue. Also, the clouds are a little blown out just over the horizon and lack a little contrast. There is some interest in the foreground but it might be nice to see a little more.

Some suggestions: Color correct (blue cast from water and sky), increase contrast, and burn the sky a little.

Welcome to DPS. You're supposed to include your exif data as well. It's a nice shot, but it lacks a real subject or focal point. A boat in the water would be cool. I agree that the sky is overexposed. The foreground is underexposed. A graduated neutral density filter is made for these type of situations, as it will reduce the brightness of the sky relative to the ground. It's preferable to shoot in the golden hours also.

I like where the horizon lines up - it's a nice shot. I've seen similar photos taken from a lower point of view - this can sort of accentuate the way your eyes are led from near to far. There's also a line formed by the pilings - you could play around with that a bit, too.
