Default Maui overlooking Maalaea Bay

I was just looking over a few photos from a past trip to Maui and decided that I would try and process the photos a little differently than I have before. The colour of the sky kind of bugs me but I'm not sure what it is about it that does. I've tried making it a deeper blue, and burned it in a bit but it still bugs me. Critiques welcome . What could I do differently with the sky to make it appear more, appealing.

The picture is a stitched pano, shot on my D300 with these settings :

Exposure: 1/250 sec, f9.0
Focal Length: 18mm
ISO: 200

You've captured a beautiful scene, but my complaint about the image is my complaint about most of the panoramas I've seen - there is no real subject or focal point in the shot. It's a cool overall scene, but I can't tell if the subject is the sky, sea or land. I think the best way to improve the color of the sky is to shoot in the golden hours.
