Hello everyone,
So I recently went to Chicago for business and found myself walking around one of the nights shooting what I saw. This is waaaaaaay outside of my comfort zone, but felt I wanted to try something to push myself. So, I shot the image below. My thoughts as taking the shot were to demonstrate a balance between the beauty of the mural and the graininess of the hustle and bustle of the city. Essentially the hidden gem that everyone who lives in the area walks past without thinking about everyday. I did some PP to add to the contrast between the mural and the surroundings. Please provide any feedback you'd like to share. Like I said this is not my comfort zone so I'll take all insight I can get. Did I convey the concept well? Ideas to improve compositionally? ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/51560010@N07/5533333702/ Exif Data: Hand held Exposure 0.077 sec (1/13) Aperture f/4.0 Focal Length 24 mm ISO Speed 800
