I think it cuold definitely use a bit more contrast. It also seems quite a noisy image, have you run it through any noise reduction processes?

Finally, it seems a little off level, the post on the right of shot is twisting the picture out of a realistic perspective and I find it a little dizzying - I would suggest finding a vertical in the picture that you can straighten it around and possibly crop out the post - it doesn't do anything for me and I can see that perhaps you were trying to use it as a frame? for me, it just pulls it out of shape.

I quite like it.. It would be nice if you could lose the phone pole.. If you could do that, your picture would take on the quality of a much older photograph.. The over exposure adds to that feel for me, as does the noise and lack of contrast.. With the absence of anything 21st Century in the frame, except for the pole, the photo could easily be from th 1900's, or even before.

Having said that, the subject matter is a little boring and would mean nothing to anyone who doesn't know the cabin. You're not telling us anything here except "Here's a cabin".. And? What about this cabin?

But you ddn't ask about the subject, you asked about the conversion, and if you intended to produce a picture that could have been taken 100 years ago, you've done a good job in my mind.
